Lutheran churches, volunteers, and other leaders in Michigan have been working in Flint to help address the immediate needs of people who need access to clean water. ELCA World Hunger will also be providing funding for relief efforts in Flint and is looking at how the ELCA can best accompany the community as it looks to move forward.
Our shared Lutheran values have helped bring light to critical issues on Capitol Hill, including those that address hunger, global poverty, caring for creation, and the protection of children.
