The following information was shared with the congregation during this past Saturday and Sunday worship services:
The firm we hired, Dennis Kowal Architects, will be on-site Wednesday morning to preform an in-depth analysis of the condition of the church’s (sanctuary) roof support system. Please note, according to the signed contract, it can take up to two weeks to obtain the full report. However, we will be asking for a quick turn around on an initial report that will indicate whether the building is safe to occupy or not. If the report states the building is safe, services will be held in the sanctuary that following weekend.
We will also call a Congregation Meeting to discuss the repairs that the report outlines. The meeting date is still to be determined. There will be a representative from the firm at that meeting to help present the report to the congregation.
