Lutheran Disaster Response brings God’s hope, healing and renewal to people whose lives have been disrupted by disasters in the United States and around the world. Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria are among the most powerful storms ever recorded in the Atlantic, leaving widespread damage across Florida, Georgia, Puerto Rico, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, the U.S. Virgin Islands and other locations in the Caribbean. And before these hurricanes struck, Hurricane Harvey was one of the most catastrophic storms to hit the country in more than a decade.
As a church, we’re standing by our neighbors who have been affected, as they travel the long road to recovery.
