Covalence for February 2016

CovalenceThe Lutheran Alliance for Faith, Science, and Technology Newsletter

In our first issue of 2016, we are continuing our look at denominational differences in the faith and science dialogue with a review of a new report from the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod from George Murphy. It caps off a series of other essays we had in 2015 on Roman Catholic views, science’s challenge for doctrinal Christianity and Amos Yong’s response to faith and science scholarship through the Pentecostal lens.

In this edition, we also bring you up-to-date on initiatives at Fuller Seminary, free online educational resources for school-aged children and recent legislation related to science education. There is plenty going and a number of events coming up, according to our Calendar section.

Are you working on a project related to faith and science? Tell us more at relandsci@gmail.com. And as always, if you are interested in getting others involved in the discussion, forward on to your friends this link to sign up for a free subscription to Covalence: http://luthscitech.org/covalence-opt-in/
