Members of Zion have been amazingly generous in support of Operation Warm Heart!

To help us better coordinate volunteers, and ensure that we have enough volunteers on each of the days we host homeless men, women, and children in our fellowship hall, we ask that volunteers please sign up for specific dates and tasks.

We are looking for volunteers on the Wednesdays we host to:

• cook meals (at least 2 volunteers),
• prepare desserts (at least 2 volunteers),
• greet our guests and help serve during mealtime (at least 2 volunteers), and
• stay with our guests until at least 10:00pm (at least 1 volunteer).

Our guests arrive at 6:00 pm on Wednesdays.  Greeters/servers should be in the fellowship hall to welcome guests by 5:45 pm, and meals should be ready to serve by 6:30 pm.  We also need a member of the congregation to volunteer to stay with our guests in the fellowship hall until at least 10:00 pm Wednesday evenings.  If you have any questions, please speak to Pastor or Kathleen Silva, or contact the parish office at tel. 732-388-1815.
